Paper.. Made Simple.

Wow. Summer just flew by.
I mean, whoa.
This summer
(my last summer of High School, might I mention?)
Has been, simply put, great.
I spent a lot of time with my amazing boyfriend, Chris
(You remember him?
The one who's cooler than Burger King crowns?
Yeah. Him.)
and his best friend, Jeff
(who is also pretty flipping awesome.)
Hopefully,
the remainder of this summer will be
just as great,
if not greater.

I hope this school year
(SENIOR YEAR! Whoa!)
is gonna be the best school year
ever.
I'm gonna do my best to make it that way.
A super cool year filled with
love, peace,
and of course,
FUN!

(And by peace,
I mean, real peace.
No more of this ugly drama business.
with friends, family or random people on the street.
It's about time we all grow up a little,
right?)

gone, but not forgotten.

Let this day be known as one of mourning.
Today is Wednesday, June 2, 2010,
the very day a loved one,
a very important part of my life,
has mysteriously perished while I was driving sometime this morning.
That's right. Let's all have a moment of silence for my small,
but very beautiful and talented
GPX mp3 player.
I don't know what happened to it,
but somehow, while I wasn't home to guard her,
she got wet, and is no longer functional.
I remember when she used to tell me "hello" when I pushed her little button.
Good times, now only a memory,
a memory of a time of music, joy and laughter, passed by with her passing.

Okay. No more of this sadness.
Let's focus on something positive!!!
Like... one,
I'M A FLIPPING SENIOR!!
As of last Thursday, summer vacation began,
as my Junior year of high school came to a close,
making this my last summer in high school,
and making me
A FLIPPING SENIOR!
In all caps, and all big, just like that.
Yeah. (:

Also, I got Beatles stuff to talk about! (:
On July 13,
PAUL MCCARTNEY
is coming to concert.
Hopefully, I will have a job soon,
so I can get enough money to buy three tickets.
(What? You think I'm going alone? Pft. No way.
I gotta find two people who'd want to go with me.
Any takers?)
[And don't worry, DAD, I'll ask permission if I get the money]
And ANOTHER Beatles thing...
There's a movie coming out this year called
Nowhere Boy
that's about a certain JOHN LENNON.
It's going into theaters October 8.
That's EIGHT DAYS before my birthday.
So I think, for my eighteenth birthday,
I will ask my family for two or more tickets
to the midnight release.
(because , AGAIN, I won't go alone.)

may the lotion be with you.

So, school is officially.. almost out.
Which is, pretty freaking sweet.
Yeah. I'm gonna be a senior.
(a very short senior. Sweeeet.)

So, reader, you oughta be proud of me.
I'm not quite so jiggly as I was
when I last posted about swimsuit season.
Which is awesome, cause that can only mean one thing.
Swimsuit shopping. (:
I've gotta pick what color I want...
Something... bold.
Like, perhaps red.
Or maybe blue, to match my eyes.
Or, maybe I'll do something
totally out-of-character,
like hot pink! .
(hahaha. no.)

Speeeeeaking of character,
I signed up for the school's musical for next year.
It's called, "Thirteen."
I don't really remember what it's about.
Haha, oops.
Also... I should praaaaahbably mention it
to my parents.
Maybe.

Making it Better.

Finally! Spring weather! I mean.. Jeez!
It's been winter all month. And FINALLY, it's starting to look like spring!
Which is excellent, because I'm sick and tired of clouds and snow. So.. yay. (:

There's been a lot of earthquakes these past few months..
The one in California really shook people here in Utah.
It's only 700 miles from here.. which really isn't that far.
Our city lies right along a major fault line..
And we haven't had a major earthquake in over 300 years..
So a lot of folks are really getting freaked.
Scientists pedict a 7.0
Which really isn't awesome, but at least people are getting ready for one
which might actually happen.
But I'm sure, if we all work together,
we as a community can pull through it.
Right?

Bring Me My Chapstick?

Yeeeeeeeeeah! Spring break! My favorite break of the year!

It's not so much the break part that I like, it's more of what they represent-
the end of the school year!
Now that is something to be excited about.. because after that break
(for summer vacation, of course), it'll be
SENIOR YEAR!
That's right! We're already almost to the part where I begin rest of my life.
Oh. Scary.
Spring, however, is not necessarily my favorite time of year.
You see, it marks the annual arrival of my well-known arch-enemy
(or, uh, one of my arch-enemies)
allergy season.
(Duhn. Duhn. Duhhhhhhhhhhhn.)
Which to me calls for less sleep, headaches,
snotty-runny-nasty-noses, frequent chapstick uses,
aaaaand

(for some odd reason)
frequent bad-hair days.
Which means, seeing as I'm a seventeen-year-old-girl,
that is not such an awesome thing for me.

A plus, though. It's almost tank-top-and-shorts season.
Which is always fun for me because I own a lot of those.
The issue with that, though..
it's the same thing as swimsuit season.
Uh-oh.
Guess that means Jaysee's gotta get into shape.
Eat right and exercise. That's how we do it.
(Emphasis on the exercise part, though..
..I've got to get rid of that pudgy tummy.
Yeesh.)

Fortune Cookie Rebellion.

Even though that made no sense to you, the title was completely relevant in my head.

I keep telling myself that I'm goint to update this thing more often, but I get busy.
(And beeeelieeeve me, I've been busy. Talk about a stressful moment.. I'm working through it though, so don't worry.)

So now I'm just enjoying what I've got right now... I'm freezing and hungry, true, but I'm chatting with my good buddy Todd on Facebook and texting my wonderful, gorgeous, sweet and overall fantastic boyfriend Chris. Doesn't get much better than that, I tell ya.

And reader, you know what? Things have been really down for me lately. I mean, so much has gone wrong.. but someone I care about berry berry much gave me this brilliant idea that goes something like this:
yeah, life basically sucks right now. But the thing is, a bad attitude isn't going to fix anything, so what's the point in having one? Things'll only get worse.
So I'm taking the advice and trying an optimistic attitude. Which is good, because right now, a negative look is NOT going to help.

Just.. keep positive, Jaysee. What happens, happens. Go with the flow. Hakuna matata. (:

Once I'm in I Own Your Heart.....

Song lyrics as the entry title. Lame, yes. Sorry.
It's just that Adam Lambert's singles are out
and I can't get "For Your Entertainment" out of my head.
Gyyarsh, I suck. [:

So.. yesterday was Halloween. Obviously. I couldn't pick out a costume,
so I just did my usual attire:
black clothes and eyeliner,
and I let the people's imaginations run wild.
It's not like I got to trick-or-treat anyway. But I did take my brother and littlest sister around.
Which was fun.

Aaaaaaaanyways, yesterday something else happened.
We were watching two of our favorite ghost shows..
and you know how on Ghost Adventures
they say "dude, dude" repeatedly when they "see or hear something"?
Well, we got video of my brother imitating Aaron's frantic "dude, dude"-ing.
It's hilarious. He does the face and everything.
It's on my YouTube [summrbreak]. Go check it out. [:

Sorry I'm boring today.
I just haven't got much to say!
Ill think of something to talk about...

So I've pretty much come to the conclusion that my friends rock.
Because seriously, they're the best. I can't even explain it.

If the whole musician thing doesn't work for me,
I've decided on a career to fall back on.
I'm gonna be a ghost hunter!
I haven't decided if I want to try for TAPS
or start my own paranormal society
but either way I'd love to be on TV.
I already know all sorts of stuff about ghosts,
equipment, or anything to do with that.
Go ahead, quiz meh. [;
